LOVALTO
Company / Careers

The person who scopes your project is the person who builds it.

LOVALTO is a boutique Salesforce consultancy staffed entirely by senior practitioners. No pyramid, no offshore handoff, no learning on the client's dime.

Why we exist

We built the opposite of what we left.

We started LOVALTO after years of watching large firms sell senior expertise and staff junior delivery. A partner wins the work, an architect scopes it, and then a team of people two years out of school builds it while the client pays partner rates for the privilege.

That model is good for the firm and bad for everyone else. Every LOVALTO engagement is delivered by someone with the experience to own it end to end, and the client talks to that person directly.

It means we grow slowly and we say no to work we cannot staff properly. We think that is the right trade.

Open roles

Two conversations we want to be having.

We hire slowly and mostly from people we have already talked to. Both of these are open now.

Solution Architect

Full-time, W-2 · Remote, U.S.

$135,000 to $150,000 / yr base

Most Salesforce consultancies sell you a principal architect and staff you a second-year analyst. We built LOVALTO because we got tired of watching it happen from the client side. Every LOVALTO engagement is delivered by an architect who owns it end to end, from discovery through go-live, including the hard client conversations in between.

We are a small, fully remote firm working across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom data architecture on core Salesforce. Our clients run from mid-market to enterprise. The work is technical, hands-on, and directly visible to the people who bought it.

Our clients are asking for AI, and we are building that capability now. If you want to shape how a firm approaches Agentforce and platform AI rather than inherit someone else's approach, this is the moment to join.

What you will do

  • Lead discovery and requirements sessions with client stakeholders, then translate what you hear into a defensible technical design
  • Design scalable data models and solution architecture on core Salesforce, including the judgment of when to configure, when to build, and when to tell a client no
  • Build. Flow, LWC, Apex, integration patterns. You are expected to be in the tooling, not describing it from a distance
  • Help us build our AI practice: evaluating where Agentforce and platform AI genuinely fit a client problem, designing the grounding and data readiness work underneath it, and setting the guardrails that keep an agent from embarrassing a client
  • Contribute to integration design across REST and SOAP APIs, middleware such as MuleSoft, and event-driven patterns
  • Write the documentation that outlives you: solution designs, data dictionaries, runbooks, handoff material
  • Manage your own client relationships, including scoping, status, expectation-setting, and the conversation when scope moves
  • Contribute to estimation and SOW development, and review other architects' designs while having yours reviewed

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years of Salesforce implementation experience, with at least 2 in an architect or technical lead capacity
  • End-to-end implementation ownership. You have been the person accountable when it went live
  • Current, hands-on skills across Flow, Apex, LWC, SOQL, and the platform security model. You should be productive in an org on day one
  • Consulting experience with direct client ownership. You can run a room without a project manager in it
  • Strong written communication. A large share of our work product is documentation
  • AI-assisted delivery. You use LLM tooling in your own work, whether that is Claude, Cursor, Copilot, or something else, and you have opinions about where it helps and where it quietly produces garbage
  • A real point of view on platform AI. You do not need a production Agentforce implementation behind you, but you should be able to talk credibly about what separates an agent that works from a demo that does not: grounding, data readiness, topic and action design, and where the limits actually are

Strongly preferred

  • Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification, or clear progress toward one
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, or active CTA pursuit
  • Hands-on Agentforce, Data Cloud, or Prompt Builder work, including pilots
  • Integration experience: API design, middleware, error handling, and the failure modes that come with both
  • CI/CD with Gearset, GitHub, and SFDX, and comfort with source-driven development
  • Financial services, healthcare, or utilities domain depth, and prior experience at a small firm or in an early-stage environment

How we work

  • Fully remote. No offices, no hybrid schedule, no return-to-office plan on any horizon
  • No set hours. You manage your own time. Client meetings and committed deadlines are real obligations, and the rest of your calendar is yours to structure. We do not expect nights or weekends, and if you are consistently working them to keep up, that is a signal something needs to change on our end, not yours
  • Billable expectation of 32 hours per week, deliberately below a 40-hour week. The gap is where the thinking, learning, and internal contribution live
  • Senior-only delivery. You will never be asked to supervise a junior resource billing at your rate. We do not have one

Compensation and benefits

  • Base salary of $135,000 to $150,000, depending on experience, certification, and demonstrated architectural depth
  • Utilization bonus, uncapped. Every billable hour you deliver above your annual expectation earns you a defined share of your blended billable rate. There is no ceiling on it, and we will walk you through the full calculation early in the process
  • Referral and retention incentives for new clients you bring in and existing relationships you grow
  • Paid time off: four weeks (20 business days), plus company-observed holidays. It covers vacation, sick, and personal time, and we mean for you to use it. Approved leave never counts against your billable expectation
  • Health coverage, a monthly reimbursement toward the individual health, dental, and vision plan you choose, and a 401(k) eligible after three months with a 2% company match in year one and 3% thereafter
  • Professional development. All Salesforce exam costs covered, plus an annual training budget, and a technology stipend at hire toward your home workspace setup

Employment terms

Full-time, W-2, exempt. Employment is at-will. This role is remote within the United States, subject to the states in which LOVALTO is registered to employ.

Business Operations & Marketing Intern

Paid, part-time · Remote, U.S. · 12 weeks

$20 to $25 / hr

Running a boutique firm well takes a lot of work that nobody bills for: the blog, the newsletter, the proposals, the invoices, the research behind a pitch. Right now the architects do it, usually at night, usually later than they should. We would rather hand it to someone who owns it properly.

This role is not client delivery. It is the operating side of the business, and you would see all of it, because there is no layer between you and the people running the firm.

The work

  • Marketing production: blog posts and the newsletter, from draft through publish, plus LinkedIn
  • Keeping the site honest. Copy, resource pages, SEO metadata, and checking what actually ranks
  • Business operations: ticket hygiene, time-entry review, invoice prep, and chasing the loose ends
  • Proposal and SOW assembly from the architects' notes
  • Prospect, market, and competitor research that feeds real pitches
  • Keeping our own Salesforce org clean, which is also the least painful way to learn Salesforce

What we are looking for

  • Currently enrolled in, or recently finished, a degree or certificate program. Marketing, business, and communications are the obvious fits, but we care more about the person
  • You write clearly. This is the one that matters most, and it is the one most people underrate
  • Comfortable in a spreadsheet, and curious about what is behind the numbers rather than just formatting them
  • Organized enough to own a recurring process without being reminded it is Tuesday
  • Comfortable being told you are wrong, and quick to ask before guessing

Salesforce experience is not required and not expected. You will pick it up here, and we will pay for the Administrator certification if you want it.

Terms

Roughly 15 to 20 hours per week over a 12 week term, scheduled around your classes. Paid hourly, W-2. If the work is good and we have the volume, we would rather keep you than start over.

General interest

Do not see a fit? We would still like to know you.

We hire slowly and mostly from people we have already talked to. If you are a senior Salesforce practitioner and the way we work sounds like the way you want to work, send us a note. When something opens, we start with the people we know.

Send us a note

How to apply

Four things, one email.

  1. A résumé or LinkedIn profile
  2. Your Trailhead profile URL
  3. Where you are located and when you could start
  4. A few sentences about an architecture decision you would still defend today

Apply through the LinkedIn posting or send it to careers@lovalto.com. Applying for the internship: skip the Trailhead profile, and instead send a short piece of writing you are happy with. A paper, a post, a newsletter, anything. We care how you write more than what it was about.

What happens next

A 30 minute conversation with a principal, then a longer technical and architectural discussion, then references. We move in under two weeks.
